Position Title: Financial Controller
Reports to: General Manager with a strong dotted line relationship to Group Controller
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Responsible for US GAAP and China financial reporting and financial analysis, internal
controls, business process improvement, providing advisory and support service to local and
corporate management teams, compliance, risk management
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the company’s accounting processes and work with Head quarter in US for
monthly/quarterly/annual reporting;
- Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures and systems in accordance
with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles;
- Continuously review the company business activities and processes to evaluate the risk
and prepare mitigation process ;
- Provide analytical service to support business decision making and support company to
execute effectively;
- Manage the accounting/ finance department; Maintains financial staff job results by
coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising
job results;
- Manage the process for audit, tax, customs and treasury management;
- Establish forecast and budgeting process and target across organization and drive the
forecasting and budget results;
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve profitability of the business;
- Assist management in driving financial and operational accountability throughout the
organization;
- Support management team with ad hoc reporting requests, profitability analysis, strategic
analysis, global projects and others duties as assigned;
- Direct the function of information systems;
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree or above in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent, CPA preferred;
- US Accounting Standard experience;
- At least 10 years progressive experience in financial management in multinational firms
and/or accounting of manufacturing processes;
- Exposure to controlling, consulting functions and planning activities;
- Numerically strong and comfortable with high-technology PC work environment; ERP
experience;
- Mature personality with a strong degree of ability to communicate with all levels of the
organization including the CEO and CFO;
- Pro-active, independent and a quick learner;
- Excellent analytical and good conceptual skills.
