職責描述:
The Senior Modular Manager oversees the division modular planning process implementation and ensures delivery of a high quality category strategy and Planograms with strong customer relevance to improve shopability & customer availability and maximize sales and profit of the category and store.
? Leading category analysis and providing professional category advice to Merchant by using assortment and space tools to provide suggestion on assortment optimization to Merchant to maximize category’s sales and profit. Propose store clustering based on assortment and stores’ performance to optimize assortment in each stores to balance sales and inventory. Provide professional guideline to Modular planner to generate reasonable planograms based on the analysis of store clustering result for each category.
? Oversees job-related activities and assignments for Modular Development by supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability and measuring progress in achieving results; actively communicating working status, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning among team
? Recommends and review divisional modular master timeline with merchandising team based on category seasonal profile, market dynamics, store labor availability, etc to manage modular update frequency to meet business needs
? Oversees and ensures execution of the modular planning process (Annual Category Line Review and New Item Review); communicating information to team members (for example, timelines, expectations, roles, responsibilities and progress); monitoring progress against calendar; taking required corrective actions; and ensuring integration of project store strategies into timelines and processes.
? Provide critical judgment on category assortments, modular display principles, quality check of modular, error resolution, modular finalization, related information/solution delivered to merchants and stores and modular traiting to provide best in-store experience to customers and ensure actionable and easy for stores to execute based on customer insight, merchandising strategy, market dynamics with rich modular development experience; collaborating with cross-functional teams (for example, Merchandising team, Replenishment, Category Advisors); identifying and resolving outstanding issues; and requesting modifications as necessary
? Manages store visits at WM and competitors of Modular team to identify areas for improvement on display; reviewing store visit summary report by modular specialist; ensuring opportunity identified in store execution is resolved and solution applying in new modular
? Drives the continuous learning and improvement of Modular team by developing best practices, initiating meetings with key partners and training others on leveraging these practices to deliver improved business results; identifying opportunities to enhance analysis systems, reporting tools and processes; analyzing root causes for barrier, evaluating and providing the best solution to eliminate barriers; making recommendations to Modular Director and cross-functional management team to ensure modular quality and process governance
? Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting modular related projects and events.
? Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by training; mentoring; assigning work tasks; providing guideline to modular specialist on daily work to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; providing recognition; boosting team morale and creating team-work environment
? Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
任職要求:
Bachelor Degree or above. Over 5 years’ experience in space planning, category management, modular, merchandising, ops or other related areas, minimum 3 years merchandising operations team leading experience
